Upscaling Project - Upcoming Game
Hello!
After probing the market with "An Apple a Day" as my first commercial release, I have been planning and designing a new game and also researching more into what games are performing well.
What I've found is my game was rather small and simple, so I have been working on improving gameplay feel, as well as game page. This also means I will probably work in a higher end game engine, like Unreal. I'm going to make this game 3D instead so its immersive, and as I mentioned, it will be based on synthwave and hence have neon and laser like lighting, look and feel. It will likely still be based on mazes, but there needs to be a lot more content than 4 floors within one level. This design is inspired from synthwave and Andrew Turner's lasers
Basically, I am trying to heavily upscale the project I have been designing. This game will, Insha Allah, be much better and more fleshed out, and even bigger than before :D
I also explored various game pages, and have found so many small ways and tricks to really make them stand out. This includes images with transparent backgrounds, tiling of images, using images in both the screenshot section and description, using high quality GIFs - even in page background, and even using css to make the borders and cursor pop. It feels like an entire separate project of web development!
I also learnt that a free demo is quite important for the game, which can be embedded within the game page. So this time I will be making a demo before actually releasing the game. I also saw this page with a wider center platform to make the game embed huge! There are also probably ways to make the embed blend really well with the game page.
Comment what you think about my design. Share any tips you have!
